Why should you drink shakes?

 

The reason the Transformation 90 Program includes shakes is because:

  1. Shakes are quick to make.
  2. Shakes are convenient.
  3. Shakes are easily transportable.
  4. Shakes can be made ahead of time to bring with you to work or on errands.
  5. Shakes can prevent you from stopping in for some fast food when you are hungry.
  6. Shakes are nutrient rich.
  7. Shakes can be made in so many different ways you never have to get bored.
  8. Shakes can satisfy your craving for chocolate or dessert.
  9. Shakes are filling and
  10. It is fun to make up new shake recipes and pass them along to others!

 

Why do the shake recipes ask me to add Vanilla or Chocolate AC Shake?

The optional dietary portion of the Transformation 90 Program includes a protein shake powder.  We have three options:

  1. A Vanilla Soy/Whey Protein Powder
  2. A Chocolate Soy/Whey Protein Powder or
  3. A Vanilla Vegan Protein Powder made with organic brown rice, pea and chia seed.

If you choose not to use the optional dietary portion of the Transformation 90 Program you can find any protein powder that you choose and use that as a replacement.  If you would like to use the protein powder that many other Transformation 90 Members have used to get great results, let us know.

 

What is “base of choice”?

Changing the liquid in your shake will change the whole flavor of your shake plus it’s great to get a variety of nutrients from different sources.  Here are some great bases to choose from:

  • High quality water (filtered or spring water)
  • almond milk
  • coconut milk
  • skim or 1% milk
  • fresh juice
  • water from a young (Thai) coconut, which provides sweetness and a lot of electrolytes.

PINEAPPLE SURPRISE

12 oz. unsweetened almond milk
2 scoops Vanilla AC Shake
1/2 c. pineapple
handful of spinach

COCONUT – GREEN GOODNESS
(SHAE WEELER)

1 scoop Chocolate AC Shake
1 scoop Vanilla AC Shake
7 oz. of 90 calorie coconut milk
1 oz. of Bolthouse green goodness juice

BERRY PROTEIN

2 oz. (or 1 pouch) g3 Juice
½ cup frozen berries (blueberries, blackberries and raspberries)
½ cup light greek yogurt (plain)
1 cup spinach
½ cup almond milk
1 scoop My Victory Protein Boost (vanilla)
1 cup ice

CHOCOLATE PEAR

½ cup almond milk
1 cup pears, sliced
1 cup ice
2 scoops My Victory AC Shake (chocolate)

 

PINA COLADA

1 cup pineapple, sliced
1 cup coconut water
1 cup ice
2 scoops My Victory AC Shake (vanilla)

ALMOND FIESTA

12 oz. water
1/4 C cashews
1 T almond butter
1/4 C oats
1 T agave nectar
2 scoops AC Shake Chocolate
Ice
